In alignment with finishing our first season, its also the 1 year anniversary of Beto and I moving into the SLO area. This time last year we were studying at Cal Poly in the FEED program (now facilitated by Questa and Allan Hancock Colleges) developing business literacy and digging deeper into soil science. I am amazed at how far we've come in just a year. Thank you to everyone who believed in us and helped us get Moon Phase Farmers going!
We are excited to announce our Fall Season beginning Wednesday Sept 19 and carrying through November. Here are some changes you need to know about:
We are no longer using Small Farm Central to manage subscriptions. CSA memberships can be set up and renewed from our web site moonphasefarmers.com. You will be asked to create an account and then will be able to choose your subscription plan.
We have increased prices. One thing we learned in our first season was that were underselling our veggies. We were just so excited to get yall the good stuff! But to make ends meet and ensure that we can continue delivering fresh organic produce, we have added a few bucks to the price of our shares.
We changed the names of our shares. Singles shares are still singles, but Regular Shares will hence forth be known as Double Shares and Family Shares are now Triple Shares.
Duck eggs. yes. Duck eggs. Our lovely Muscovy Ducks are laying beautiful delicious eggs. We will be offering them to CSA Members sporadically as an add on for $5 per 1/2 dozen. Availability will be announced via email.
